Tianyi Pavilion~~

The Tianyi Pavilion Museum is located on the western shore of Yueli Park in Ningbo, where stands the oldest existing private library in - the Tianyi Pavilion - Library. It was built during the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty (1561-1566) by Fan Qin, a retired official, as a place to store books. The pavilion houses ancient books and desks, exuding a heavy fragrance of books. The Tian Pavilion Museum is actually a Jiangnan garden, with the East Garden and the South Garden dotted with rockeries, ponds, pavilions, and other scenic spots. through the ancient brick and wood corridor, you can feel the serene environment. The garden is also home to the Mingzhou Stele Forest, where hundreds of stone tablets record history of ancient official education. There is also a painting and calligraphy gallery, which often showcases the finest paintings and calligraphy from the Tianyi Pavilion -'s collection and the works of famous scholars.
